We just started the new formula for NVD a few weeks ago. I HATE the new color. So far it seems to be tearing Carson's stomach up. He is spitting up and having some extremely nasty diapers. Now with this new color too, everything he spits up on looks like it is neon yellow even after it is washed. Any thoughts on how to get the stain out would be appreciated too. Is Carson the only one having problems?

Kayla - love the new family pic!
We still are on the old formula, but i know the new has tumeric in it which we are giving Eliza separately. It it stains something horrible! The only thing which helps is soaking in oxyclean before washing. They use it as a fabric dye for yellow in India. It is also getting huge raves as a great Alzheimer's preventative. I may just put an old T-shirt over Eliza whenever she eats something with it.
Sorry to hear about the stomach problems. I'll let you know if we have any once we switch over. Hope they resolve soon!

Do they still sell the old formula? I would love to get my hands on some if they do. I guess I can call and find out. The stain is terrible and he is spitting up on all of his brand new summer clothes (we are now in a 2T). I didn't soak them, but put oxyclean in the wash with them-didn't work. And, I have got to figure out how to get my parents carpet cleaned. They have a yellow neon spot right in the middle of their bedroom floor. I am thinking they might need a new rug.
Thanks,
Kayla

You may already know this but they changed the scoop size and the dosage so it's different with the new formula.
They must have some old formula somewhere - hopefully you won't have to pay for a custom...

We have the new formula and Payton doesn't seem to have any problems with it. They will customize any formula, so even if you can't get the "old" stuff, I'm sure you could get a formula with less or no tumeric if that is what you wanted. Do you think it is in part or in whole a reflux issue? How do you give him the NTD? We have found that Payton seems to take it best with yogurt. I have tried it and yogurt seems to mask the taste well.
As far as the stains, I live and breathe oxyclean. Anytime Payton has a stain, as soon as the shirt comes off, I put it in the laundry tub with oxyclean and hot water. It stays there til I wash it. I have tried just washing it and putting oxyclean in the load, but it really only seems to work when you soak it. And trying using the oxyclean on your parents carpet...it works. My son colored with blue crayon all over my mother's new carpet and oxyclean with hot water was the only thing that got it out.

I guess he just had to get used to it. I took him off of it for a couple of days and the spitting up stopped immediately. I put him back on it yesterday and he was fine. I told me Mom about the oxyclean but haven't asked her if it worked yet. Thanks.
