I thought that I would let everyone know that Ava Marie arrived on March 16th at 6:31 a.m. via C-Section. She was transverse! She came in weighing 8 Lbs. and measured 20 1/2inches long. She had her duodenal atresia surgery on the 17th and is doing well. They started her on formula today and she is tolerating the feedings well. They hope to start bottle feedings in the next few days. The cardiologist says barring any complications the heart surgery can wait until June/July. We also got the confirmation of a diagonsis of Down's Syndrome this morning. It was actually a comfort to finally know for sure. She is such a little angel! She has such chubby cheeks; I just want to pinch them! Please pray for a quick recovery! Congratulations. AUstin was transverse. The doctor turned him (I had an epidural and didn't feel a thing) because the surgery room was taken. Praying everything goes well. Cant wait to see pics.
